My Fellow Dragons, and You who love Ricks Institute,

Since 1989, Dragons, supporters, family, and friends have come together during the Labor Day Weekend from across the US, Europe, and Africa for fellowship, fundraising, and celebration in support of Ricks Institute. This year, all roads lead to Houston, TX, where the Southwest Chapter, led by Chapter Coordinator Edwina Barchue, is working diligently to ensure a wonderful experience for the entire Dragon Family. Alongside your Board of Directors, I am excited to invite you to the 2026 RIAA-USA, Inc. Annual Convention,  September 4–6, 2026. I am polishing my cowboy boots, brushing off my cowboy hat, and looking forward to a meaningful and memorable “boots on the ground” gathering.

Our 2026 Convention theme, “Pursuit of Excellence,” builds on our organizational focus of “Sustainable Investments” and “Total Involvement for Higher Heights,” calling us to deeper engagement to ensure a lasting impact on the students at Ricks Institute.

We encourage you to arrive on September 3 to attend the important Business Meeting on Friday, September 4. As this is an election year, your participation is vital—come ready to vote and consider how you might serve.
