Ricks Institute Alumni Association, USA, Inc. (RIAA-USA) remains a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization. Our membership is primarily those alumni and friends residing in the United States.

Our objectives are:

  • To provide financial and other assistance to Ricks Institute, our alma mater, which will enable it to:
    1. Continue to provide the quality of education that it has traditionally provided;
    2. Educate the whole person through a curriculum rooted in spiritual, intellectual, and technological formations;
    3. Relate faith to learning responsibility and intelligibly;
    4. Instill in the students an awareness of their responsibility with God, the world, and the environment;
    5. Offer a strong core curriculum based on needs of Liberia and beyond fostering an interdisciplinary approach to learning; and
    6. Encourage courageous, compassionate, articulate young people to serve others and not merely self.
  • To honor and express our appreciation to anyone who has made substantial contribution toward furthering the purpose stated in our objectives;
  • To get together as a group and discuss strategies for carrying out objective; and
  • To raise funds in order to facilitate the implementation of objective.

We, the member of RIAA-USA, function through the alignment of seven chapters: New England, New York, Washington DC, Carolinas, Georgia, Midwest, and Southwestern. We have identified approximately five hundred active members in order to meet our goal. We meet annually as a national organization, over each Labor Day weekend, to consolidate our fundraising initiatives and make plans that will support the educational and restorative activities of our alma mater.

WE ARE LED, AND SERVE, FROM OUR ALMA MATER MOTTO – “NOT FOR SELF BUT FOR OTHERS”
