RESTROOMS RENOVATION PROJECT

RESTROOMS RENOVATION PROJECT

Completed Projects

In 2019 when our National Chairman Mr. John E. Scott II visited Ricks Institute, he could not help but observe the dilapidated condition of the restrooms in the William V. S. Tubman Administration Building – the building that houses the school’s main classrooms.  These restrooms were being used by more than 500 students and staff.  Returning to the US, he brought the severity of the situation to the attention of the Board and in the spirit of our mantra “Not For Self But For Others,” this Ten Thousand US Dollars (US$10,000) Restroom Renovation Project was launched in March 2020.  Mr. Joseph A. H. Jones, Architect/Engineer of Design Group Inc. was RIAA-USA’s Consultant in Liberia.  Mr. Jones also served as Project Manager for the Restrooms Restoration Project.

The project, which included a complete overhaul of the Sewer System of the Administration Building; overhaul of the Restrooms; laying of new pipes; replacement of all restroom fixtures and painting of the restrooms, was completed as represented by
